Single bookings up to 9 persons

Bookings up to 9 people can be made online or via phone. A valid credit card is required with its number and expiry date, but the credit card is not charged in advance, the balance of payment is due upon arrival. Credit card is only charged in case of cancellation or No-Show and only by the applicable fees. The data submitted when booking is legally binding. For group bookings (more than 9 people) regardless of the booking method a pre-payment of 50% of the total amount is required.

Price, Compensation, Payment

Payment of the entire length of stay will be charged at the moment of the check-in. Any remaining balance must be paid upon arrival with cash, debit card, credit card or traveler’s check.

Reservation Change

In the event of changes to the reservation (incl. a change in the number of reserved beds, room type, the length of stay or other essential services provided by the hostel) the hostel is entitled to modify prices. If you are unable to make changes or cancel your reservation online, please contact us via email or phone for assistance.

Cancellation

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days (48 hours) by 3:00 PM before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified within 48 hours or less or in case of no-show, fees equivalent to the first night (maximum two nights) accommodation will be charged.

If you wish to cancel any dates during your stay, you must notify the hostel 2 days (48 hours) in advance prior to 3:00 PM of the date you want to cancel. A 90% refund will be provided for dates that are applicable for a refund (10% is non-refundable). Any nights being cancelled that falls within the 48 hours cancellation period are non-refundable.

Check In policy

Check-in begins at 3:00 pm, and a valid government photo identification is mandatory upon arrival. Note that we do not accept passports as a form of identification for US citizens during check-in.

Check Out policy

Check Out time is before 11 AM. Late checkouts. Late check outs will be penalized with a $10 charge. This doesn’t give the right to spend the night in the hostel. Checkouts after 11 AM will incur a 50% charge of the current night’s rate, for additional use of the room. After 3 PM the full day’s rate will be charged. Deposits are refundable if all keys, towels, bed linen, and our hostel items provided at the time of your Check In are returned in good condition.

Tax statement

Taxes: The listed price does not include taxes (16.50%). Daily bed rates are subject to a 16.50% combination of tourist, City, and hotel taxes, which will be added to the final price.

General Rules

We welcome guests from everywhere outside of San Francisco county.

  • Upon check-in, international guests must provide a valid passport while US residents must present a valid government-issued identification such as a driver’s license or state ID card. Guests may also be asked to show proof of onward travel.
  • Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian. Guests under 16 years of age are only permitted in private rooms unless they rent out an entire dorm. Parents with young children should contact the hostel prior to booking.
  • The maximum length of stay is 14 days.
  • Guests who check out before their pre-arranged check-out date may not be entitled to a refund of the price paid upon arrival.
  • The hostel reserves the right to refuse admission or to end a guest’s stay at its discretion. All guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests and hostel staff and will be held responsible for their own actions during their stay.
  • If the details provided during booking are incorrect, the reservation will not be confirmed.
  • If a guest is unhappy with their accommodation because they were misinformed about the nature of our hostel product, they will be charged 100% for any nights they decide not to stay and will be responsible for finding alternative accommodation.
  • Our prices are calculated based on current tax regulations. Any changes in tax regulations will be applied to the original tax base.
  • By booking a bed in a dorm, the guest accepts the shared room arrangement with other people. If the guest wishes to have a private room, they must pay for all unoccupied beds or book a separate private room.
  • Our hostel is non-smoking. A $250 fine will be charged for deep cleaning service, and additional charges will incur if the smoke alarm is activated and fire engines are summoned. Guests will also be asked to leave the premises.Regenerate response

Special terms and conditions

Group booking for 10 or more people

Groups of young people under 18 years can only be accommodated if accompanied by group leader(s) who is/are at least 18 years of age or older who take(s) full responsibility for the group. The number of group leaders depend on the size of the group.

-To reduce more than the 10% of the group original size done between 30 and 15 days before the arrival, it will be charged a 10% of the correspondent amount.
-To reduce the group original size 11 to 14 days before the arrival, it will be charged a 15% of the correspondent amount.
-To reduce the group original size 3 to 10 days before the arrival, it will be charged a 25% of the correspondent amount.

Inquiry

To request a booking fill in the form you’ll find in our website or contact us and you will receive a reply with availability and prices for the dates requested. If you confirm it, you will receive an invoice for the stay divided for room type, number of beds, weekend extra and additional facilities. If you agree with it you’ll need to confirm the reservation paying 10% of the total amount as a deposit. Only with this payment the reservation will be guaranteed.

Payment

Payment Group reservations need to be guaranteed with a 10% deposit. The remaining 90% of the booking needs to be paid 60 days before arrival. It is possible to pay by Visa, MasterCard and bank transfer. In case the group do not pay 3 days prior to arrival date, we will consider that the group reservation is cancelled

Cancellation

Cancellations must be informed via email or fax. Cancellations done through the telephone won’t be accepted. Unless the contract stipulates something different, the following cancellation policy applies: For groups of 10 or more,

  • Up to 8 weeks prior to arrival, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged as a handling fee.
  • 6-8 weeks before arrival 20%of the agreed total price will be charged.
  • 5-2 weeks before arrival 50% of the agreed total price will be billed.
  • 2-1 weeks before arrival 75% of the agreed total price will be charged.
  • 7-2 days prior to arrival 90% of the agreed total price will be charged.
